Film Makmum 2 Tembus 1 Juta Penonton, Rekor MURI di Era Pandemi

intervalinstitute.com – Produser Dee Company Dheeraj Kalwani begitu bersyukur atas respon penonton dalam menonton film ‘Makmum 2’. Film yang dibintangi oleh Titi Kamal tersebut tembus 1 juta penonton pada Jumat (14/1/).

Pencapaian Dee Company ini menjadi pertanda baik bagi dunia perfilman Indonesia. Pasalnya, sejak pandemi Covid-19 menyebar dan bioskop sempat buka-tutup, film Indonesia seakan kehilangan penontonnya.

Sebelum makmum 2 resmi rilis, rekor penonton terbanyak di bioskop pada tahun 2021 kurang dari 500 ribu penonton.

“Saya bangga dengan pencapaian ini. Industri kita bangkit. Semangat untuk semua produser. Terimakasih untuk penonton Indonesia,” kata Dheeraj Kalwani.

Menurutnya, jumlah penonton menjadi bukti bahwa keraguan para penonton untuk kembali ke bioskop telah meredup.

“Kita telah melalui masa pandemi dengan tetap berkarya. Tidak ada yang lebih membahagiakan daripada apresiasi penonton kita di bioskop,” ungkap pria yang lebih dikenal dengan K.K Dheeraj tersebut.

“Bagi kami, sebagai produser ini seperti nafas baru. Bantuan oksigen saat kita susah bernafas. Ketika penonton yakin ke bioskop, kami antusias memproduksi film baru, secara otomatis, lapangan pekerjaan juga terbuka lagi untuk ribuan tenaga kerja di industri perfilman Indonesia,” imbuh produser berusia 36 tahun tersebut.
