Di Rumah Budaya Eyang Sono Karyo, Ada Gamelan Satu Abad dan Peninggalan Bersejarah Lain

intervalinstitute.com – Komite Seni Tari dan Jaranan Dewan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kediri, Dekky Susanto, melakukan kunjungan ke Rumah Budaya Eyang Sono Karyo, Demang Ngetrep atau Rumah Eyang Bakri di Desa Ngetreo Kecamatan Mojo, Minggu (13/3).

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Dekky Susanto mengatakan bahwa terdapat sejumlah peninggalan gamelan dari bahan perunggu dan besi yang usianya berkisar ratusan tahun dan juga sejumlah peninggalan bersejarah lainnya.

“Ada peninggalan gamelan dari bahan perunggu dan besi berusia 100 tahun, wayang kulit kuno,, perangkat pertunjukkan Jaranan Kuno, perangkat Reog, Kendang dan benda-benda bersejarah lainnya,” ungkap Komite Seni Tari dan Jaranan DK4 dikutip dari instagram resmi DK4.

Di rumah budaya tersebut, beberapa peninggalan bersejarah koleksi dari Eyang Sono Karyo, Mbah Demang kakek dari Eyang Bakri, tersaji dan tersimpan dalam pendopo.

Menurut cerita Pri, cucu buyut dari Eyang Bakri, konon rumah tersebut sempat menjadi markas resimen Sikatan dan sebagai gudang senjata tentara Indonesia pada masa penjajahan Belanda.

“Hasil pembicaraan dengan ahli waris dan pihak Desa (Ngetrep) mau mengangkat rumah Budaya ini sebagai tempat singgah wisatawan,” kata Dekky Susanto.

Rumah Budaya Eyang Sono Karyo, Demang Ngetrep, tersebut beralamat di Desan Ngetrep Kecamatan Mojo Kabupaten Kediri.***
