Demi Kenang Warisan Budaya Sungai Batanghari, Dirjen Kebudayaan dan Pemerintah Daerah Bakal Gelar Kenduri Swarna Bhumi

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Gubernur Jambi, Abdullah Sani menyambut baik kegiatan Kenduri Swarna Bhumi yang diinisiasi oleh Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan Kemendibud Republik Indonesia.

“Saya menyambut baik kegiatan Kenduri Swarna Bhumi ini sebagai unsur Budaya Melayu Jambi kerja sama antara Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan Kemendikbudristek, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi, dan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat ini,” ungkap Abdullah Sani.

Gubernur Jambi tersebut juga menyatakan bahwa Provinsi Jambi mempunyai beragam kebudayaan Melayu Jambi yang meliputi upacara kepercayaan tradisional, adat perkawinan, tradisi lisan, sistem kemasyarakatan, corak arsitektur bangunan, permainan, seni, pengobatan dan seterusnya.

Karena itu, Abdullah Sani berharap melalui Kenduri Swarna Bhumi, penelusuran bukti-bukti sejarah budaya Melayu Jambi yang kaya dan beragam bisa menarik minat anak muda untuk berkunjung budaya.***
